I'm delighted to announce that ain't no love in here, girl was recently accepted to the Best of Manchester Poets, Vol 2 *throws epic victory arms*

The anthology is available for purchase in December. Watch this space for more information.

Congratulations - which I've already said but it's nice to put it onscreen, too. I want to come to the gig but am trying to work out whether the trains will let me - I am not at all keen on driving into/parking in Manchester at night.

Btw, concert tickets booked, cooker installed, harisssa paste recipe found and on its way. None of these are poetry related, I know, but while I remember....

I believe training is possible, there's e.g. a train from Piccadilly to Romiley 22.45 on the date. Let me know if you plan on coming. Apparently it's standing room mostly, but the organiser will reserve some chairs for people who might not be able to stand around for 2h. <3

Thank you! It'll be interesting, because sounds like there will be a number of experienced performance poets there, and this particular poem doesn't work so well read out loud anyway... Ah well. My test drive it an open mic I'm going to tomorrow.
